Arctic Fox

The Arctic Fox has a gray or blue coat in summer and a white coat in winter. It will eat almost any animal, dead or alive.

Biomes:    Arctic tundra and mountain or alpine tundra; ice caps

Habitats: Coastal areas; burrows into the ground or snow for protection from the Arctic cold.

Range: Tundra areas of Eurasia, North America, Greenland, and Iceland

Status: Stable
