Most of these resources require you to use alphabetical order. D is for: Dictionary How Does Alphabetical Order Work? Spelling Meaning E is For: Encyclopedia Alphabetical Order Subject Order Many Volumes (Sometimes) A book or set of books that give broad coverage of a topic in short articles. Usually done by experts in their fields. Basic Facts Overview A is for: Atlas Maps (gathered together) and Almanac Yearly/Timely Information A book published each year that gives up to date facts, charts, graphs, figures, numbers about many topics of interest. Example: R is for : Reference Sources Comprehensive Concise Other books and sources that have a great deal of information Thesaurus A book that gives synonyms and antonyms for words to provide a writer with a more varied choice. |
